Someone Ruffled My Feathers

You see so many nasty and hateful things posted on facebook. So much lately about killing and taking up arms against people, shoot first or be shot type of thing. A picture of a gun in the hand of Jesus. What are people coming to and why so much hatred. I just don't get it. I am not as Religiously educated as many of the Clergy on facebook, I am a bit different and a bit "out there", and sometimes I ruffle feathers with what I have to say and what I believe in. But I tell you all this in no uncertainty. I would rather hold out my hand to my brother man than to yell death fire and damnation to all who do not believe what I believe or those who are perhaps on the wrong road or path. How do you think you can change things if you show just as much hatred and nastiness as those who you condemn! You just create a circle by doing this, it just keeps going around and around, and somewhere it needs to stop. Be one of those people who try to stop this and not keep it going. Over the last few weeks I have learnt that I am glad I am different. I am glad I think and feel the way I do. I am glad I am not filled with the hatred that some others seem to be filled with. I am glad I am me. Instead of all the bullshit, why don't you go and find someone who is in need and go offer them your friendship or your hand instead of inciting more hatred. This is what we should really be about. Helping our fellow man. I am not referring to clergy here, just everyone. Each and everyone of us must know someone who is troubled in some way. What better way to spread the word of God than to behave as he would like us to behave and I don't believe for one moment that it is with hatred and condemnation and non acceptance of others no matter what the differences. Like I said I am so very glad I am me.
