Although I like the traditional hymns, I also like the "different" ones, hence the music on each page. These are hymns & songs that I like. If you don't like the music as you go along on each page, just click the pause button,

I am The Most Reverend Leonie Newman and I am an Archbishop with the Australian Church of Antioch. My Parish is The Order of St. Bernadette of Antioch and I am based in Melbourne, Victoria Australia. As with many of the Clergy of ACoA, I don't operate from a Church, but from my own home.
Within my Parish it is just me and only me, so if you contact me and I don't get back to you straight away, I apologize now, rest assured I will get back to you at some stage though. Also not all services that I would like to eventually offer will be available at the moment due to family, business & other commitments, but you can enquire via the "Email Links", and I will let you know if I can help you or not. You may also notice I am into the Dove. The Dove of Peace.
The Order of St. Bernadette is a member of The Australian Church of Antioch, which is an Independent Catholic Church with Orthodox and Liberal Catholic lines. The Order comes under the bishop protector and constitution of ACoA but still retains independence.
We offer you something just a little bit different to mainstream Religion.
You will find many and varied pieces of information on these pages. Some of it you may agree with and some of it you may not.
For those of you who may wander by my website and pop in to have a look, please feel free to take a tour and check out what I have written. You may notice as you travel through these pages, that I may not be quite like what you expect from Clergy. I am just Me, and I am strong enough in my beliefs to make this website. Whether you believe me or not, I hope you enjoy the journey.
You may find what I write interesting, you may not. You may either change some of your beliefs or you may leave feeling the same way that you entered here. If I have helped you in any way that is good, if not I hope that you find what you are looking for somewhere. Either way you are welcome anytime, and I offer to you always..............

Serenity Prayer by 20th Century American Theologian, Reinhold Niebuhr
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
BLESSED BE
We wish to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land and the diverse nature of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia. We pay respect to the Elders, past, present and future, and celebrate their stories, culture and traditions, and especially their Kadaisha men and women who carry the esoteric knowledge of the Ages. |
